Koç University Law School and the Law Club are pleased to announce the 10th “International Students Symposium on Law and Global Issues”.

Recent conflicts between countries have raised many new issues to International Law. Indeed, one of the most crucial examples of interstate disputes in modern times has emerged and it has brought up many challenges associated with it. Debating the legal implications of topics such as the violation of International Law, Human Rights, the International Criminal Court’s power of sanction as well as global trade dependency becomes vital in order to sustain the established international order.

We believe that an international student conference will contribute to raise academic awareness as regards universal values of the Rule of Law and its desired effect towards resolving the conflict.

Affirming its devotion to global studies of Law both from a comparative, regional and international point of view, Koç University Law School strongly encourages Law students to participate in the “International Students Symposium on Law and Global Issues”.

Those who would like to present a paper must upload their paper abstracts (maximum 350 words) by April, the 18th.

We are looking forward to your contribution to the Symposium, either as a speaker or a participant.
