We would like to inform you about the last ELFA Board meeting that was hosted by the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, on the 12th and 13th of June.

In this ordinary meeting, the Board had a very positive evaluation of the Annual General Meeting held this year in Turin, and dealt with a number of projects regarding our association, including its financial matters.

For one thing, we may also announce that the editorial Board is preparing a forthcoming Call for Papers for the first number of the European Journal of Legal Education, which is expected to be launched before the next AGM.

In this regard, the Board is already working on the programme of the AGM that will be held in Warsov, Poland from the 22th to the 24th of April 2020, so you may already save the dates!

Moreover, in Warsaw, the members of the Board continued the ELFA’s efforts in exploring opportunities for fruitful cooperation with international networks. In this occasion, the Board had a very interesting meeting with a representative of the South East European Law School Network (SEELS).

In addition, we would like to welcome the new members that have joined ELFA. From our last Board meeting held in Toulouse, in January 2019, new members have joined the association: Kiev University, from Ukraine, the universities of Modena, Reggio Emilia, Bologna and Brescia in Italy. From Spain,  the Universidad Loyola Andalusia, from the Slovak Republic, the University in Kosice, and from Turkey – North Cyprus, the University of City Island. Moreover, both the American University Washington College of Law, from USA, and the Universidad Católica de Uruguay have also joined ELFA.  As of today, ELFA currently has more than 170 members!

Finally, we would like to thank the University of National and World Economy in Sofia for hosting the Board meeting.

Remember that, as always, we will keep you here up-to-date about everything concerning with ELFA!
