On 27 October 2017, the European Commission presented the final Work Programme for Horizon 2020, covering the budgetary years 2018, 2019 and 2020 and representing an investment of around €30 billion. It may be particularly relevant Challenge 6 is on “Europe in a changing world – Inclusive, innovative and reflective societies”, tackling topics within the scope of migration, industrial and technological transformations, and governance for the future of Europe. Moreover, Challenge 7 deals with issues related to Smart cities and security matters.
