We wish to inform you about the statement approved by the ELFA Board of Directors in its meeting of 8th March 2022:

ELFA’s Board of Directors strongly condemns the Russian invasion of Ukraine and calls for the cessation of all hostilities. Military activities against an independent state openly violate the Charter of the United Nations of 1945, and the Russian troops’ operations which have led to a humanitarian crisis are a breach of the European Convention on Human Rights of 1950. ELFA wishes to express sympathy with the people of Ukraine and supports Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
