Faculty of Law, Criminal Justice and Public Administration University of Lausanne - Dorigny Campus Quartier UNIL-Chamberonne Bâtiment Anthropole – Room 1129, Lausanne, SwitzerlandThe 2023 Annual General Meeting and Conference of the European Law Faculties Association took place in Lausanne, Switzerland, from 12 to 14 April 2023. More than one hundred participants, among members and speakers, contributed to a highly interesting and successful event. The initial gathering was on Wednesday 12 April in the Lausanne City Hall, where representatives of the municipality welcomed the participants and presented them a historical overview of the city of Lausanne. Deusto University, Campus Bilbao Avda. de las Universidades, 24., Bilbao, Bizkaia, SpainThe ELFA Annual General Meeting and Conference 2026 brings together scholars from across Europe and beyond to examine how Artificial Intelligence is influencing contemporary legal education. Held in Bilbao from 15–17 April 2026, the meeting offers a space for academic reflection on the ways AI is beginning to shape teaching methods, curriculum design, and the broader organisation of law schools. Across keynote lectures, thematic panels, and informal discussions, participants will consider both the opportunities and the constraints introduced by emerging technologies. The programme highlights comparative experiences from European universities, as well as contributions from researchers in the field. Alongside these academic sessions, the conference includes cultural events and dedicated spaces for strengthening inter‑university cooperation, reaffirming ELFA’s role in supporting scholarly dialogue on the future of legal education.
