The Board is pleased to announce a new version of the ELFA Summer Courses Regulation. One of the ELFA main aims, according to article 6.2 of its Articles of Incorporation, is the gradual development of a common European dimension in the different areas of legal education and research in general, and education and research in European Union law and comparative law of the EU Member States in particular. ELFA Summer Courses: overview of the 2019 edition and open call for proposals for 2020!

The first edition of the ELFA Summer Courses was a great success! In 2019, ELFA recognised the summer courses organised by the Universities of Antwerp, Business & Technology Kosovo and Insubria. They also involved the participation of other ELFA members. The University of Antwerp organised the Summer School on Companies crossing borders. During the end of June and beginning of July, professors from the University of Antwerp taught a number of subjects relating to mergers & acquisitions, tax planning, intellectual property or international contracts, to name just a few. We are writing to inform you that ELFA has already recognised the first ELFA Summer Courses!  As it is known, ELFA wants to become a bridge to promote joint research and learning between their members, especially in areas of the European Union. In this regard, ELFA is activating and enhancing teaching and scientific exchanges between Law faculties, in particular by extending the knowledge of the various EU law fields to current and future jurists.
