On 17-19 April 2024 Edinburgh Law School hosted the Annual Conference and AGM of the European Law Faculties Association. ELFA has over one hundred and fifty members in forty-nine countries. EJLE: Special issue on Global Legal Education – Call for Papers

As previously announced during the ELFA Annual Conference held in Edinburgh on 17- 19 April 2024, the European Law Faculties Association and the Law Schools Global League are collaborating on an exciting new enterprise, together with the European Journal of Legal Education. The winners of the 2023 ELFA Award were announced at the ELFA Annual Conference 2024, which took place on 17-19 April in Edinburgh. Professor Laurence W. Gormley (University of Groningen), Coordinator of the Award and former ELFA President, announced the decision of the Jury, which this year was composed of Aurelia Colombi Ciacchi (University of Groningen), Thomas Horsley (University of Liverpool) and Dagmar Schiek (University College Dublin). ELFA and LSGL join forces

We are delighted to announce that two leading international legal education networks, the European Law Faculties Association and the Law Schools Global League, are to collaborate on a joint research project in the field to which both entities are devoted. One of the ELFA main aims, according to article 6.2 of its Articles of Incorporation, is the gradual development of a common European dimension in the different areas of legal education and research in general, and education and research in European Union law and comparative law of the EU Member States in particular.
